The Senate is continuing to work rapidly to approve President Donald Trump’s cabinet.

The Senate Finance Committee will vote tomorrow on Robert Kennedy Jr.’s nomination to be Health and Human Services secretary.

Trump is holding calls with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and will host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The House will hold floor votes tomorrow through Friday, taking up <a href="https://pfluger.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=2231#:~:text=WASHINGTON%2C%20DC%20%E2%80%94%20Congressman%20August%20Pfluger,over%20the%20last%20four%20years." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">legislation</a> to prohibit any federal moratorium on fracking.

The Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday will hold a <a href="https://homeland.house.gov/hearing/preparing-the-pipeline-examining-the-state-of-americas-cyber-workforce/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> on preparing America’s cybersecurity workforce.

Also Wednesday, the Education and Workforce Committee will hold a <a href="https://edworkforce.house.gov/calendar/eventsingle.aspx?EventID=412165" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> on the state of American education.

The Senate will continue <a href="https://www.senate.gov/legislative/floor_activity_pail.htm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">voting</a> on Trump’s cabinet nominees, aiming to approve several this week.

The Finance Committee will <a href="https://www.finance.senate.gov/ranking-members-news/crapo-announces-executive-session-to-consider-hhs-secretary-nomination" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">vote</a> Tuesday on Kennedy’s nomination.

Thursday, the Finance Committee will hold a <a href="https://www.finance.senate.gov/hearings/hearing-to-consider-the-nomination-of-jamieson-greer-of-maryland-to-be-united-states-trade-representative-with-the-rank-of-ambassador-extraordinary-and-plenipotentiary" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> Thursday with Jamieson Greer on his nomination to be U.S. trade representative, as the White House imposes broad <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/2025/02/fact-sheet-president-donald-j-trump-imposes-tariffs-on-imports-from-canada-mexico-and-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">tariffs</a> on imports from Mexico, Canada, and China.

This morning, Trump had a call with Trudeau and will <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/113940352024494275" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">speak</a> with him again this afternoon as the tariffs are set to take effect.

Tomorrow, Netanyahu will <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/busy-week-ahead-trump-cabinet-picks" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">visit</a> Trump at the White House.

Vice President JD Vance today is <a href="https://www.wlwt.com/article/jd-vance-moreno-dewine-east-palestine-ohio-derailment/63636064" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">visiting</a> East Palestine, Ohio, marking two years since the catastrophic train derailment in the city.
