The House will be in <a href="https://www.majorityleader.gov/schedule/weekly-schedule.htm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">session</a> tomorrow through Friday, taking up <a href="https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/7198" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">legislation</a> designed to reduce regulatory burdens on small businesses.

The Financial Services Committee will hold a <a href="https://financialservices.house.gov/calendar/eventsingle.aspx?EventID=409414" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> Wednesday regarding innovation in financial technology.

Thursday, the Oversight and Accountability Committee will hold an oversight <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/hearing/oversight-of-the-u-s-census-bureau/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> with the Census Bureau.

The Senate will be in <a href="https://www.senate.gov/legislative/floor_activity_pail.htm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">session</a> throughout the week, continuing votes to confirm Biden’s judicial nominees.

The Environment and Public Works Committee will hold a <a href="https://www.epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/hearings?ID=D93694BC-7534-4AEF-A435-A7CDBB6013DC" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> Thursday regarding public health impacts of PFAS.

Also Thursday, the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will hold an oversight <a href="https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/hearings/oversight-of-the-united-states-postal-service-understanding-proposed-service-changes/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> with the Postal Service.

Biden is in Africa for his first <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/bidens-long-awaited-africa-trip-tout-win-against-china-2024-12-01/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">visit</a> as president, stopping in Cabo Verde this morning.

The president will spend the rest of his <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/press-briefings/2024/12/01/background-press-call-on-the-presidents-travel-to-angola/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">trip</a> in Angola, highlighting U.S. infrastructure investment in the region.
